A woolen rug needs to be regularly maintained. 1 – Water and ammoniac
What you need:
– Warm water
– Spray bottle
– Clean cloth
– Ammoniac
What to do:
– Pour a drop of ammoniac into the spray bottle and top up with water.
– Apply the solution on to the stain.
– Scrub with a brush.
– Finish by dabbing with the clean cloth. Then leave to dry and air!

2 – Sparkling water and bicarbonate of soda
What you need:
– A little sparkling water
– About two teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda
– A brush
What to do:
– With a sponge coat your rug with sparkling water then gently rub with your brush.
– Leave to dry for 30 minutes and then sprinkle some bicarbonate of soda onto your whole rug.
– Once it has dried you can then vacuum your lovely rug and admire the results.

3 – Washing up liquid and white vinegar
What you need:
– A cloth
– A little white vinegar
– A little washing up liquid
– A whisk or an electric beater
What to do:
– Pour the vinegar onto a clean cloth and then scrub the mark.
– Leave to react for 15 minutes
– Now make a mixture of water and washing up liquid, that you can mousse up with your whisk or electric beater.
– Scrub this mixture on the rug with the help of a brush and then rinse with clean water.
– .Lastly you should wipe the rug with a clean cloth and then leave to dry!
