Having passed a certain age, many women experience hot flushes, linked to the variations in the concentration of oestrogen in the blood. Hot flushes can appear before the menopause or they can continue for a few months afterwards. And they never come as a welcome surprise, with most of us reacting in the same ways: in frustration and exasperation. Hormone replacement treatment (HRT) is often recommended in such cases, but nature is also on your side with these natural plant-based infusions. 

Dried sage leaves

You can drink this infusion 3 times a day for a period of 2 weeks.

What you need:

  • 150 mls water
  • 2 g of dried sage leaves


1) Boil the water.

2) Take the water off the heat and add the sage.

3) Leave it to infuse and drink it!

Hawthorn flowers

We recommend that you drink around 2 litres of this tea per day for around 20 days.

What you need:

  • 1 litre of water
  • 15 hawthorn flowers


1) Boil the water.

2) Add the flowers.

3) Leave them to infuse and drink it throughout the day.
