A technique to relieve a crick in your neck in ten seconds flat

Everyone gets a stiff neck from time to time, but some people suffer from this problem more than others. Having a crick in your neck can be very debilitating in your daily life. You have pain throughout the area, and every movement is excruciating. Of course, we recommend that you consult a doctor, especially with recurrent torticollis, but for rapid relief, we also have an effective technique for taking tension out of the neck area, in just 10 seconds!

What you need:

  • An exercise mat
  • A towel

Method:

1) Lie on your back on the exercise mat, and relax your body.
2) Fold and roll the towel, placing it under your right shoulder.
3) Bend your right elbow, and extend the arm out to the side, at a right angle to your body, forming a figure 4 (see video below).
4) Stay in this position for 10 seconds.
5) If necessary, repeat, but on the left side this time.
And the pain is gone!
