Have you just bought a pretty floral plant, but noticed that it is already on the decline? Not to worry! We have an ingenious granny’s tip for you today to help you revive your wilting plants, using just a few ingredients and a blender! The ingredients used also contain nutrients that are well known to promote plant growth. A fantastic home made fertiliser to give a new lease of life to any plants that could really do with it!

What you need:

  • a blender
  • 2 banana skins
  • 1 cup of coffee grounds
  • eggshells

1/ Reduce all of your ingredients to a paste in your blender.

2/ Pour the mixture onto the soil in your flower pot. Around 1 tablespoon is enough for small plants, while larger plants require 2 to 3 tablespoons.

3/ Add some more of this mixture once a week, or when you notice the plant starting to wilt.
