Often covered in germs and bad doors, toilets are THE least pleasant room in the house, the one where no one lingers and above all, the one that we like least to clean. However, we go to the toilet around 2500 times a year and spend nearly 120 days of our lives doing our business, which represents quite a bit of time. Here’s how to make a 100% homemade freshness cleaner that will give your toilet a new life.
- 160 g of bicarbonate of soda
- 60 ml of lemon juice
- 1/2 soup spoon of white vinegar
- 1 soup spoon of hydrogen peroxyde (3%)
- 15 to 20 drops of essential oil
Pour the bicarbonate of soda into a bowl and add the lemon juice.
Mix the hydrogen peroxide and the vinegar into another bowl. Little by little add this mixture into the bowl which has your bicarbonate of soda. Add the desired quantity of perfumed essential oil.
Using a small spoon, like measuring spoons, form little balls and place them on parchment paper and leave them to dry. You can also do a mixture of water and white vinegar (50/50) and pour it into the toilet bowl, so that the cleaning balls stick.

Leave the balls to dry for at least 4 hours, or even over night. Store them in an air tight container near the toilets.
