Indian women often have beautiful, shiny, silky hair. And hidden behind their glossy manes lie several beauty secrets, which you can easily incorporate into your daily routine. Here are 7 tips posted by an Indian YouTuber on her channel Sushmita’s Diaries: try them out ASAP to grow long, healthy and gorgeous hair.
1) Aloe Vera gel mask
The aloe vera plant stimulates the scalp and helps make hair grow healthier and faster. It also soothes the scalp. You simply need to leave the mask on for 2 hours or overnight. To further increase the benefits, we recommend that you massage it into your scalp, in small circular movements, to stimulate blood circulation.
2) Panthenol (gel or cream)
Panthenol is one of the B5 group vitamins and it works when it comes into contact with the skin. It restores the hair fibres while also preventing hair loss. You simply need to apply it to the roots after washing. You can also apply it to the lengths of your hair if you would like to soften the hair and reduce static electricity.
3) Cold water
Cold water is excellent for blood circulation in the scalp and can therefore help your hair to grow faster. It can also make your hair shiner. When you have finished shampooing and conditioning your hair, finish it off with a blast of cold water.
4) Apple cider vinegar
A few times a month, stimulate the hair follicles with apple cider vinegar. You can apply it after washing without rinsing it out. Don’t worry about the odour, it quickly disappears.
5) A protein mask
Take two eggs that have been stored at room temperature and separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the whites of the eggs until they form peaks and apply it to your hair. Wrap your hair in cling film to further increase the efficacy.
6) Egg and brandy mask
Eggs contain protein, while brandy is a source of tannins which add volume and stimulate hair growth. Make this fantastic mask with 2 eggs beaten in a glass of brandy. Apply the mixture to your roots. If you want to apply it all over your hair, add a little olive oil to make your hair soft and manageable.
7) Coconut and essential oils
Essential oils (jojoba, almond, lavender, thyme, rosemary) work wonders on the hair follicles and provide your hair with vitamins. You can mix them with coconut oil and leave it to work on your hair for 2 or 3 hours before shampooing.
