Our ancestors certainly didn’t have the same choice of beauty products as we have today! Their beauty routine was based on what they had to hand, and nowadays we still have beauty remedies using natural products, that have been passed down from generation to generation. In this article, we are going to share some of these recipes with you, which are based on apple cider vinegar -a great beauty ally.

1) Deeply clean your skin with this toning lotion.

Make a mixture of 200 mls of water and 100 mls of cider vinegar. Mix it and apply it to your face every morning with the aid of a cotton pad. Don’t forget to put the mixture back in the fridge after each usage, so as to conserve it.

2)  A lotion for oily, spotty skin

Shred around 4 teaspoons of mint leaves which you have washed well beforehand. Soak them in 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar for approximately one week. Strain it and add 250 mls of distilled water, in order to soften it. Apply this mixture with cotton wool, morning and evening.

3) A face mask to target impurities and tighten the pores

Mix the apple cider vinegar with green clay, in order to obtain a paste with a nice texture. Apply this to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.

4) A night cream which will brighten and beautify your skin

Make the mixture with 3 dessertspoons of natural yoghurt, 1 dessertspoon of creme fraiche, 1 teaspoon of tomato juice, 1 dessertspoon of hot liquid honey and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.

5) For soft, shiny hair

Wash your hair as normal and rinse it with apple cider vinegar. Give it a final rinse with cold water to close the follicles.

Bonus tip: apple cider vinegar is also great for fighting against hair that falls out.

6) To take care of your hands
